Break The Ice
As decided the day earlier, we had our first formal event (I mean like taking minutes.. hehehe). Despite starting a little late, the event went on quite well. There were fewer people than the first day sadly. Members were divided into 5 groups and were stationed at various locations headed by the respective station masters. At every 5-10 minutes, they're rotated. Purposed for group dynamics, it was non other than to augment the bond between members. About an hour later, the individual groups enacted a sketch, of which the title was given earlier. Theme was to be comical and pretty much everyone executed it well. The agenda came to an end with a short video clip prepared by the vice-president himself (IT WAS REALLY GOOD!). The session ended about 7.30p.m with a smile on everyone's face :)
First Things First
APAC had its very first meeting on the 27th May 2009. About 90 members were the turnout for the day. Apart from brief intro by the president, other matters discussed were probable events, feedback and election of new representatives of their respective faculties. It was pretty much of getting know the committee members and the function of APAC. However, our adviser Mrs. Devaki was not present on that day. Despite that, we managed to conjugate some ideas from the members to display an array of probable events in near future. The meeting ended about an hour later with a final decision to have an ice-breaking session on the next day.
Valentino...First Beat V
It was night and the campus was in galore of eye-catching lights coupled with its magnificent architecture, hmmm what to say... It was awesome... LOL. 14th February it was and the day would be marked by millions worldwide - Valentine's Day. Placing the concert in great hall the show was nonetheless a mix of Chinese, Indian and Malay entity. It was about 5 years ago when the very first First beat was concerted. Consisting mainly of senior students from various faculty, the show had gained a reputable name along these years. Live bands, solo vocals and some traditional medley were the highlights of the show. Despite having various performances at every concert, there were complete concord at every performances. The night was fine and the romantic mood elevated the ambience. First Beat marked their consistent ability in giving a night to lax our mind.

A glimpse of the past for the beginning..Dance of Destiny
The clock was ticking and anxiety accelerated on every committee's heart. The night before stood long with depressed setting but not an inch off spirited we were. It might appear dramatic to many, but dare asking anyone involved in the very first musical play , it would not be less as expressed. It took almost a year from the start of the idea to set the play on. Dance of Destiny it's titled, a magical night it was, a longing memory it is. Despite the multifaculty involvement is inevitable, the idea however was started by m.b.b.s batch 9 somewhere mid 2007. The play should have had its go at an earlier date, but due to some trivial problems... the play had a delay. Chaired by Punitha (President of APAC), the play had a great start and 9 months later, every effort was witnessed in the play. Grabbing the attention of 800 audiences, none moved from their seats despite the hot environment. Towards the end, the applause gained was an emotional achievement and the comments received was just enough to pay our efforts well.
